Low-carb diets slow prostate tumours

Eating fewer carbohydrates, like breads, chips and cakes, may slow tumour growth in patients suffering from prostate cancer, finds a new study on mice. The thinking is that consuming fewers carbs lowers the levels of insulin in the bloodstream, which feeds growing cancer cells. The findings are published in the Nov. 13 online edition of the journal Prostate.

Trying to get back in the swing of things. I have started eating right and actually enjoy low carb food so much better than anything else. I dont wake up first thing in the morning hungry anymore.( of course I still need my coffee)
