My girlfriend is dong weight watchers she is kind of not into low carb but I know its the only thing that remotely works for me.
I need to lay off the low carb products I had too many today. I should stick to fresh food.

Low carb is a great diet for diabetics I have been one since 1995 I am able to keep my blood sugar fairly good which is impossible on a low fat diabetic diet.

I had an apple today it looked so good it was the first apple I had in a long time.
I am slowly making choices I chose a small apple rather than a 100 calorie pack of chips ahoy cookies I think I made a better choice.

Finally getting back to this blog sorry I was away I feel bad when I fall down . My son has sarcoidosis but at least its not cancer so I feel much more at ease.

Pretty good couple of days on this new system I feel it very easy to stay away from foods not on the list. I can feel more in control limiting myself to only a certain set of foods. This just may be the thing I have been looking for.

Thursday was a blowout

Lets just say thanksgiving was not my finest hour and call it a day ): or two monday i will be back on track I got some sad news about my son and just gave up. he has a lump in one of his lungs he is only 23 years old. He got his life back together got a good job got married and now this . Anyway we cant have excuses because stuff will always happen but monday I will be back on track. There is a cool app on the Iphone/ Ipod touch for tracking my weight and progress. Which I think will help me a lot Too.

Breakfast was unusual today I woke up with low blood sugar and needed something quick. The mini wheat's I would never have usually. Then I had to run out to the bank and needed to grab something at McDonald's. I don't like egg MC muffins they use liquid margarine. So I used up more carbs than I wanted.
My carb total was 42 by 5 pm no more carbs allowed for today.
